Washer is a Pharisee that is blind to the Gospel and hates the clear fact that people are saved by faith alone in the cross. Pretty ironic that he points to John 3:16 but complicates the text with works based nonsense. There is a huge difference between the Great White Throne Judgment for unbelievers and the Bema Seat Judgment for believes. I hope one day Washer will humble himself and receive Jesus by faith like a child.

Do you mean they should feel "unsettled" or "threatened"? Threatening a church should probably force them to push back to their core values and reject new ideas. Threats to a church should probably push them back into their own core values and strong values on which they were founded and built. It should push them back to their foundation with an intent to build on that foundation rather than destroying everything. I think probably that strong individuals can survive secular integration - but I know that there are some religious groups that are exiting secular life altogether. They are taking their children out of public schools and embracing home schooling, for example. They may be suspicious of outsiders and outside values. But integration may be the least of some of their worries with Darwinism, Existentialism, Hedonism and other values apparently threatening what they believe and value. I became confused by the issue of racial integration when I was 5 or 6 years of age and I have simply fought for years to understand the issue and it's nuances and complexities while still preserving my personality and building my own life. But it started by making me "unsettled". Unsettled about my church. Unsettled about my white roots and heritage. Unsettled about America.

Matthew 19:16-17 === When our Lord Jesus Chris spoke these words at this point in His life, He knows He’s about to die on the cross. Why would our Lord give a 10 Commandment answer instead of a believe in Me answer, right before He’s about to be crucified for our sins? The reason why our Lord Jesus Christ gave a 10 Commandment answer is because the 10 Commandments were never done away with and are still valid to this day and keeping them is how we prove we love God and our neighbor. Our sinful nature doesn’t know what love is, or how to love, so God told us what love was and how to show it on 2 stone tablets. The first 4 Commandments tell us how to love God and the last 6 Commandments tell us how to love our neighbor. When our Lord and Savior said in John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my Commandments.” He was referring to the 10 Commandments. We can’t keep what we don’t know. So brothers and sisters, I encourage you to memorize, in your heart and mind, God’s 10 Commandments. Recite them everyday, but more importantly, live God’s Commandments everyday of your life, and if you stumble, repent, and keep going forward in faith. Never give the enemy the victory over anything. Always stay with the Lord…no matter what it is, give it to Him. In the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua Hamashiach aka Jesus Christ, amen.
